INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROJECT
An exhibition about the work of the Integrated Rescue System units, not only for students.
Did you know that you don’t need any superpowers or magic to become a hero? Of course not. Come see it for yourselves at Sladovna from 24 March to 29 April 2018. Or join us for the opening of the new exhibition, I, the Hero, on Friday, 23 March, from 5 p.m.
I, the Hero is a live exhibition in Sladovna that is dedicated to the units of the Integrated Rescue System, and to situations in which you can save someone’s life provided that you know what to do. The Playful Gallery follows up last year’s successful creative exhibition called World according to the Jester – This Is a City, during which a cardboard city was built. This time, we will also build, but the exhibition I, the Hero will offer much more entertainment as well as important information that every visitor can use in their everyday life.
We have built a road, houses and parked a model of a police car, fire truck and ambulance in the largest exhibition hall in the Playful Gallery. All the IRS vehicles are connected with walkie-talkies so that it is possible to communicate with the central dispatching.
What is missing now is you. Come help us finish building the city and create the fleet. You will move through the streets in a car, on a motorcycle, or on anything you can think of. Suddenly, there is an accident! Do you know what to do when such a situation happens? We will teach you that during our joint play. In Sladovna, you can practice being a hero – and that’s great.

The current interactive exhibits are traditionally accompanied by programmes for schools prepared by Sladovna. The programmes are designed in a playful form and they use the method of experience and situational learning with the aim to introduce the topic of the exhibition to the children in a comprehensible way.
The programmes for schools are designed in compliance with the Framework Education Programmes for the individual levels of education.
