Basic Description of the Exhibit
The largest children’s gallery must have the largest Anthill. And Sladovna has that. Would you like to see it?
Sladovnain Písek has prepared a third part of the most popular and most successful interactive exposition for children entitled Anthill. The first two versions of the anthill were made from cardboard. The new Anthill is even better – it is made of wood and it will stay in Sladovna permanently!
THE NEW ANTHILL FOR CHILDREN IS NOW WOODEN. COME GIVE IT A TRY...
If you visit the Playful Gallery in Písek and its Anthill, you will get in the shoes of a small forest creature, exploring dozens of meters of tunnels and several chambers with audio-visual elements. You can climb a tree, walk on wooden bridges, meet the queen and take care of the ant cocoons.
ENJOY THE TUNNELS, HIDING PLACES, BRIDGES AND EVEN A TREE AS TALL AS THE CEILING…
Artist VladimírVětrovský is the author of our Anthill. He cooperated with Hřiště pod Květinou (Playground under a Flower). More than ten cubic meters of wood were used for the construction of all the objects. They did not use wood from the forest but they recycled old unused pallets. They created a work of art – come see it for yourselves.
THE ANTHILL IS STRONG, RESISTANT AND HUGE…
Children love the artistic concept of the anthill. They play in it but the Anthill also has an educational function. Through play, children learn a lot of information about nature. The Anthill is a place inspiring to free play that provides physical action and offers space for children’s imagination.
THE WOODEN ANTHILL IS ENTERTAINING AS WELL AS EDUCATIONAL…
